egg-O-shOOter for Linux und Windows
egg-O-shOOter-1l.msi (Windows) (42,3MB) egg-O-shOOter-1d.tar.gz (Linux, x86) (41,9MB) The free version of egg-O-shOOter. You like to play egg-O-shOOter? Hunt for high scores, play target shooting or try to shoot all eggs as fast as possible at precision shooting. And the good thing is: You don't have to pay for a license - try it! If you think the game is too artless or maybe too challenging, you can alter it as described at the column 'Insight'. The game runs with Windows 98/Me, 2000, XP, Vista and Linux. You need a machine with a 600MHz CPU and a 8MB graphic card supporting OpenGL. During installing procedure at Windows 98/Me, an error message appears. You can find more infos about the installation process at the installation procedure for Linux and Windows.

egg-O-shOOter early for Linux
egg-O-shOOter-early.tar.gz (145kB) The first version of the game from spring of 2008 for Linux. Really poor graphics with no bunnies and the eggs disappear from time to time without a (known) reason... There is no guarantee given for the game and it is not supported in any way. How to play it? Fire with left mouse button, reload with right mouse button (lasts always 2 seconds) and scroll with cursor keys.
HardWareDetect.exe for Windows
HardWareDetect.zip (184kB) A little program informing you about the hardware of your computer. So you can detect the appropriate OpenGL driver for your computer. Furthermore the actually used OpenGL driver is detected. Usage: Download the zip file and unpack it to a directory of your choice. Start HardWareDetect.exe and a file named 'HardWareDetect.txt' will be created where at you will find the informations. The program has been compiled with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and the source code is published under the terms of the 'GNU General Public License'.
